Here at Minimal System Instruments we love to produce modern electronic dance music, the thrill of spending hours crafting a gorgeous sound from our favorite synthesiser is hard to beat. Loops and Samples are common place now but every once in a while we come across a  pack that is so good that we just have to add it to our store.

The new ‘Analogue Electronic Volume 1‘ sample/loop collection from Minimal System Instruments is one such pack. As big fans of Minimal System Instruments VST plugins and Ableton Live Packs we were excited to hear that they were releasing a range of sample packs, but in an already saturated market how does their first release stack up?

Minimal System Instruments are happy to announce the release of our first sample/loop pack. Analogue Electronic is a stunning collection of 288 cutting edge loops recorded from real analogue hardware including Doepfer and Buchla Modular Synths, Moog Voyger XL, Roland Jupiter 8, Alesis Andromeda A6 and many more. If you produce House, Techno, or Minimal you don’t want to miss this. Heavy basslines and cutting synth leads a plenty.

Each loop contained in this pack has been lovingly produced by our in house team of sound designers and established producers.

All loops are 24bit .wav files for use in any PC/Mac based DAW.

When we were first sent the pack to review we really liked the Artwork as it gave us the impression that the pack was filled with futuristic, electronic goodness. We were not disappointed!

The 288 loops are divided into easy to navigate folders (Bass, Lead, FX etc). We started by stacking a selection of the loops up in Ableton Live to see how well they worked together, we instantly had an 8 bar loop that sounded like we were in an underground Techno club in Berlin, fantastic! Next we listened one by one to all loops contained in the pack, there are warm analogue basses, cutting leads, gorgeous arps, and solid drums. They all sound great. It was not long before we were effortlessly working samples from Analogue Electronic seamlessly into our tracks.

There is not much more to say, its a sample pack which sounds great! Heavily recommended if you produce electronic music such as house, techno, ambient, tech-house, progressive.
